Keyword Search Now Available in MyLibrary! Release 3.0

MyLibrary!, our patron mobile app, now offers keyword searching right from the app. In addition to scanning a book by ISBN, patrons can now search the full catalog within the app by keyword. The search includes a filter to narrow results by material type, and this release offers an expanded range of materials that patrons can place on hold from within the app.

MyLibrary! Release 3.0 also includes integration capabilities for library partners using Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) credentials across university systems. When enabled, patrons can sign in to the app using their university account or their Sierra native account. This provides a consistent user experience across Sierra discovery applications such as WebPAC, Encore, and MyLibrary!.

For more detailed information, library partners can review the MyLibrary! 3.0 release notes on the Innovative Supportal. To learn more about other recent changes in the MyLibrary! app, read our post, “MyLibrary! Release 2.1 Integrates WebPAC and Encore Labels on Sign In Screen.”

MyLibrary! is available for download in Google Play and the Apple App store, and currently available to subscribing Sierra libraries. Sierra 2.4 is required for the app, and the latest features are available with Sierra 3.2. Learn more about the MyLibrary! mobile app by visiting the Innovative website.
