Idea Lab Winner Announced: Create Lists Roadmap Challenge

Hello Innovative Users!

We are pleased to announce the results of our recent Sierra challenge! — Level Up! Sierra Create Lists Roadmap Challenge.

The Innovative Product Team is continually seeking input from our users regarding how we can best assist you in being successful. We designed this challenge to focus on improving Create Lists functionality in Sierra.

Geared toward Create Lists power users, this challenge was pre-seeded with several of your ideas from Always Open, but we asked for more ideas from you, and you delivered—with a total of 73 ideas!

This challenge provided so many great ideas for improvements to Create Lists. While the challenge has a single winner, watch for some of these ideas in later Sierra releases. These ideas are just too good to pass up!

And the winner is…

Submission: Add a conjunction AND NOT (in addition to AND and OR) to Create Lists

Inspired by: An idea submitted by Cindy Harper in Always Open – Sierra

Proposed for: Sierra 5.2, Q2 2020

“The number and quality of ideas in the Level Up! Sierra Create Lists Roadmap Challenge was extremely impressive.  We were excited that this challenge generated 1547 votes, 397 comments and 2686 views”, said Deirdre Stretton, Sierra Senior Product Owner and challenge sponsor.  “We have an excellent winning idea we will be slotting in our roadmap, but it was a close race! Many of the other ideas were interesting and exciting, and we will work on getting more of these ideas into future roadmaps. We want to thank all those who participated in this challenge!”

If your favorite idea was not the top vote-getter, never fear.  It will live on in Idea Lab. If there is not already a version of the idea in Always Open, create one!  And don’t forget to encourage your friends to comment and give it a “thumbs up”.
