When to Contract Managed Services

If you’re concerned about your library’s ability to keep your ILS system consistently operating at an optimal level, we encourage you to take advantage of our Managed Services. Contact us if:

Three Levels of Support

Basic

5+ hours per month

A dedicated Innovative Consultant will monitor system status and backups, answer software and workflow questions, make sure you are fully utilizing Sierra or Polaris functionality, and be available for regular phone calls to help with any issues. Your consultant will also manage routine tasks including the management of user permissions, system options and parameters, and routine WebPAC changes.

 

Standard

10+ hours per month

In addition to the services included in our Basic level of service, your consultant will also schedule software upgrades, manage add-on product installs, make routine changes to WebPAC, and load tables, in consultation with your library.

 

Premier

10+ hours per month

Our Premier service level begins with a multi-day library visit to learn about your staff, discuss areas of focus, and provide you with a detailed report on recommended projects and changes. Within three months, we’ll follow up with a system checkup service, which we recommend for all libraries that have been using an Innovative ILS for more than five years. We’ll educate you on current best practices and reconfigure codes and tables for optimal system use. This level includes all Basic and Standard services.

 

Custom

Each of our Managed Services levels are fully customizable, but our most popular packages are Basic, Standard, and Premier. With any Managed Services package, you can expect a fast response time and thoughtful analysis of how changes will impact your system and workflows.
