The Innovative Product Team invites you to participate in our First Quarter 2021 Idea Lab challenge: Show Me the Money!
Collection development is one of the most creative parts of librarianship, but the nuts and bolts of making purchases can be a little less fun.
For this challenge, we’d like to see what improvements you want to see in acquisitions and serials in Sierra and Polaris. This challenge starts on January 19.
Have an idea you want to share? Access the Show Me the Money challenge in Idea Lab and submit your ideas there. Idea submissions are open until January 31.
Getting community input on ideas is an important part of the refining process. Voting and commenting will continue through February 7.
Pairwise voting will begin March 1. When you enter the challenge and click on the Pairwise tab, you will be prompted to choose your favorite idea from each of several pairs until you have seen every possible combination. Vote on as few or as many pairs as you like and spread the word to your colleagues so they can vote, too!
