Innovative, part of Clarivate™, is pleased to announce that the Ypsilanti District Library in Michigan has selected Polaris as their new Integrated Library Service, Vega Discover as their new discovery layer, Vega Promote for email marketing, INN-Reach resource sharing, and the SkyRiver bibliographic cataloguing tool.
Starting as the Ladies’ Library of Ypsilanti in 1868, today the Ypsilanti District Library (YDL) serves the greater Ypsilanti area with three branches. YDL serves a population of more than 88,000 in Ypsilanti, Ypsilanti Township, and part of Superior Township. In addition to extensive collections of materials to read, listen to and watch, the YDL offers an extensive library of things that includes craft tools, kitchen and garden supplies, musical instruments, pickleball supplies, photography equipment, and games. YDL’s events include story times, book clubs, art workshops led by artists, lectures on genealogy, classes on software tools, craft classes that range from knitting and embroidery to include FrankenToys and Infinity Mirrors. The library also hosts an Ypsi Stories podcast that features discussions of Ypsilanti history.
