Polaris 7.3 is available now! Highlights include:

• Visiting patron functionality - Allows patrons who have access to library resources as part of an INN-Reach system to borrow materials directly from the circulation desk at a partner library, instead of creating an INN-Reach request.

• Manual acquisitions and additional cataloging functions in Leap - Users can now manually create purchase orders, line items, and segments. Invoices can be created manually or be created by copying purchase order lines, and purchase order lines can be manually marked as received.

• Cancel held requests - It is now possible to let patrons and staff cancel hold requests in a held status. This development adds a new view to the picklist so staff can easily identify items to pull from the hold shelf when the hold request is cancelled.

Upgrade Circulation Notices with LX Starter

LX Starter will be available to any Polaris library on the latest version of Polaris, and will provide a visual editor with templates to create visually rich circulation notices that will catch your patrons' interests.
