Henderson County Public Library (HCPL) has been serving Henderson County since its doors first opened in 1904. While the library has stayed at the same location with a building that includes restored stained-glass windows and murals within its cupola, its reach is larger thanks to additions that include meeting rooms with views of the Ohio River and a makerspace with 3D, poster, and vinyl printers, a sound booth and more—as well as a mobile library that makes regular stops at community centers and residential areas. HCPL also offers activities that range from pickleball lessons to personally curated book boxes to passport services and tech help sessions.
