The Roseville Public Library first opened in 1936 as the Erin Township Library within the municipal building in the Village of Roseville. The library is now part of the Civic Center Plaza next to City Hall in Roseville, and serves their approximate 15,000 users in Roseville, Macomb County and parts of Wayne and Oakland Counties with an annual circulation of ~102,000. Roseville Public Library’s events include opportunities for new readers to read to a therapy dog, crafting for all ages, book clubs, holiday events, card gaming, and historical lectures.
“In our mission to serve as a cultural center of our community, we needed a tool that would make it easy for us to manage our programs and easy for our community to find our programs. Now that we’re using Vega Program, I can say that it is easy to add events, and I like that we can add statistics after the events have finished. I also like that we can feature some of the events at the top of the public calendar,” says Sarah Marsack, Systems Librarian at Roseville Public Library.
