IUG 2021 Connects Users Online


For the second year in a row, conditions with COVID-19 have prevented the Innovative Users Group from hosting an in-person annual conference but that won’t keep us from meeting together and sharing great ideas!

IUG 2021 will be held online from March 22-25. Just like previous IUGs, the agenda includes presentations by libraries and Innovative staff, live Q&A with presenters, a vendors exhibit hall, forums for user discussions, available appointments with your account manager, and a virtual “Hall of Solutions” where you can meet with Innovative Customer Support.

The conference features four full days of content with multiple sessions to choose from. Most presentation videos will be available on-demand with a live session for questions and answers with the presenter. You can watch the presentations at your convenience or right before the Q&A session for the full conference experience.

Day one of the conference kicks off with the IUG opening session and live presentations from Innovative leaders on development for Sierra, Polaris, and Vega that you won’t want to miss. Plus we’ll have some special Detroit-themed fun to honor the city where we’d originally planned to meet in this year!

Register. To register for the conference, log in to the Innovative Users Group website to find the registration link! The first 600 registrants will get one of our coveted hardback IUG notebooks (yes, those notebooks) and an IUG pen, so act fast!

Join. The IUG is a user-led group, independent of Innovative, and member fees go directly to the user group. If your library is not a member of the IUG, then you can join for the cost of only $110 per year. The benefits of IUG membership include access to the annual conference, program materials from the annual meeting, access to the Clearinghouse, participation in the IUG forums, and more.
