We are pleased to announce the results of our recent Polaris challenge! — Lions, Tigers and Holds, Oh My!

The Innovative Product Team is continually seeking input from our users regarding how we can best assist you in being successful. We designed this challenge to focus specifically on improving the holds process in Polaris.

Inspired by: An idea submitted by Gretchen Allen, Fayetteville Public Library

Proposed for: Polaris 6.4, Q4 2019

“Participation in our Idea Lab challenges continues to grow with each challenge.  We were excited that this extremely focused challenge generated 1076 votes, 152 comments and 1676 views”, said Kellie Conner, Polaris Product Owner and challenge sponsor.  “Not only do we have two winning ideas we will be slotting in our roadmap, but we also received feedback on ideas that will help shape future roadmap choices.  As we implement these winning ideas in upcoming releases, we look forward to a strong continued partnership with our amazing customers.”

Development is planned for upcoming releases, with initial delivery targeted in Q4 2019!
