The Clermont County Public Library in Ohio (CCPL) has proudly served the community since 1955, starting with a bookmobile and a modest office and growing into a robust system of 10 locations. One of the Library’s early goals (which it achieved) was to have a library location within a 15-minute drive of all county residents. Guided by its mission “to foster lifelong learning by providing resources that inform, programs that engage, and ideas that inspire,” the Library emphasizes access, service, diversity, education, and integrity in everything it does – for example, card-holders can access online learning platforms, such as ABCmouse for free. Back in 2013, their reported annual circulation was more than 1.6 million items!
“Instead of purchasing separate products that didn’t integrate as well, we were looking for a simple all-in-one solution,” says Laura Eckert, Digital Specialist at Clermont County Public Library.

Vega WebBuilder has made it easier to highlight our collection of databases and specialty collections – increasing discoverability by our patrons. Showcases from Discover are also turning out to be an easy and high-profile way to share items from the collection,” continues Eckert.
