Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM) Goes Live with Complete Discovery and Management Solution from Innovative
Emeryville, CA—Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM) is now live with a suite of products that bring together library management and discovery of print and e-resources. The Innovative products include the Millennium ILS and Encore Synergy, as well as an e-resources product package that includes ERM plus the WebBridge link resolver and PathFinder Pro smart linking. The Dulce Chacón Library is migrating from a Unicorn™ system provided by SirsiDynix.
The Dulce Chacón Library serves around 14,000 students and has a collection of 100,000 volumes, including 17,000 e-books. Says Library Director Isabel Rico: "Launching Encore Synergy and Millennium reflects our commitment to stay ahead of the best university libraries and respond to the changing needs of users. We are convinced that the implementation of this technology will facilitate active collaboration with faculty and students in the processes of learning and knowledge creation."
The Library selected a hosted implementation provided by Innovative. Rico continues: "Receiving support in maintaining and updating our hardware and software allows us to focus on improving our services with confidence."
