INACAP Libraries (Chile) to Support Teaching and Research with Millennium
Emeryville, CA—The Technical University of Chile, Vocational and Technical Training Institute (INACAP) has selected Millennium and will migrate from Horizon™ and Alexandria™ library systems. With 82,000 students and 25 campuses, INACAP is the largest institution of higher education in Chile.
Millennium will facilitate autonomous research by students and include the complete INACAP bibliography nationwide as well as other sources such as online databases and the academic output of its scholarly community. "Millennium inaugurates a new stage in the services the library offers to students and teachers, representing improvements to how and what information resources are accessed for learning and teaching at INACAP," says Carolina Torrejón Pérez, National Director of INACAP Libraries. "In addition, our professional librarians will be able to manage the entire resource set accurately and optimize the use of resources destined to develop and increase INACAP's collection."
