King Abdullah University of Science and Technology Selects Millennium

Innovative Interfaces Welcomes First Customer in Saudi Arabia

Emeryville, CA—King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) has selected the Millennium ILS to support the library of this new, world-class institution scheduled to open in September 2009. The selection adds to Innovative's presence in the region, which includes customers in United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Egypt.

"We chose Millennium as the backbone of a new library that will house a large collection and incorporate all of the latest technologies," says KAUST Library Director Adnan Alsharif. "The Library will occupy a central place on the KAUST campus and is designed as a gateway to research information and ideas. We found Innovative to be a reliable partner in the Middle East and Arabian Peninsula. We believe they are a very good choice to help us realize our vision of a high-tech library at a first-rate center for technological and scientific research."
