University of Wyoming Selects Millennium and Encore
Emeryville, CA—The University of Wyoming Libraries have selected the Millennium ILS and the Encore discovery services platform. Millennium will replace a Voyager™ system provided by Ex Libris, Ltd.
"We had an existing relationship with Innovative through our participation in the Colorado Alliance's Prospector union catalog," says Lori Phillips, Associate Dean of Libraries. "The expanded relationship with Innovative is intended to meet our two most basic goals. First, we strive to offer a very good working environment to staff that use library technology every day. On this front, we decided that Millennium came closest to an ideal system. Our second goal is to provide excellent discovery and delivery features. To this end, Encore is going to improve the search experience of our users and allow them to discover more information from our collections than ever before."
University of Wyoming joins other libraries recently trading Voyager™ for Millennium such as Grand Valley State University (MI).
Voyager™ is a trademark of Ex Libris, Ltd.
